Un superhéros, qui s'occupe de ses enfants pendant que sa femme sauve l'humanité, reprend du service, afin de se débarrasser d'un nouvel ennemi.
Hélène Parr a un nouvel emploi : grâce à ses actions de sauvetage, elle est chargée de redorer l'image des superhéros. Et ce n'est pas sans causer des bouleversements dans la famille. Bob, vexé d'être évincé, doit s'occuper des enfants, Violette, Flèche et Jack-Jack, pendant qu'Hélène sauve l'humanité...
