Bob vit au fond de la mer, dans le cadre charmant de Bikini Bottom. Il passe son temps à blaguer avec son copain Patrick, l'étoile de mer. Un jour, la couronne de Neptune est volée. Tous les soupçons se portent sur monsieur Krabs, le patron de Bob. Or, ce dernier est convaincu de son innocence...
